This group is for hikers who enjoy easy or moderate trails, or who want to try more advanced hikes but at a slower pace than many of the other hiking groups.  Our goal is to enjoy hiking at a slow and steady pace, for everyone to make it to the top and back down again without any pressure to go at a faster pace than your true comfort level.  It is not a race, let's hit the trails and enjoy the journey!

Summary This meetup offers free classes and tours. Prior skiing or skating experience is required. Skating skill, social interaction and touring are the goals of this group. Skating too fast for conditions and racing are expressly prohibited. Meet other local people who are interested in hiking for fitness! We also do some biking, snow shoeing, ice skating, roller skating and some x-country skiing and getting together for a bite to eat after a hike or just coffee. Our group is a lot of fun.
